How to fix Wi-Fi or Bluetooth issues on Razer Blade laptop or Razer Core

Razer Core Wi-Fi connection issues

Razer Core wireless connectivity issues occur on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The following methods resolve this issue.

  • Connect the Razer Core to the network with an Ethernet cable.

  • Connect the Razer Core to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Unable to connect to Bluetooth device or Wi-Fi network from a Razer Blade laptop

Wi-Fi network

  1. Right-click "Start" and select "Settings".

  2. Go to "System" then "Troubleshoot".

  3. Under "Other troubleshooters", locate "Network and Internet" and click "Run".

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.

Connect a different device to the same wireless network to test the connection.

  • If the other device also fails to connect, restart the wireless router. Turn off the router, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. Update the router firmware or contact the internet service provider if the issue continues.

  • If the other device connects successfully, restart the Razer Blade laptop and check the network connection status. Turn off airplane mode if it is enabled, enable the wireless adapter if it is disabled, and move closer to the router if the network does not appear in the list.

Note: Check the wireless MAC filtering and firewall settings on the router. Register the MAC address of the Razer Blade laptop on the router if MAC filtering is enabled.

  1. Select the wireless network name.

  2. Click "Connect".

  3. Enter the correct security key.

  4. Press the WPS button on the router if it has one.

Reinstall the wireless adapter if the Razer Blade laptop still does not connect.

  1. Open "Device Manager" and expand "Network Adapters".

Intermittent connection issues on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or LAN network from a Razer Blade laptop

Wi-Fi network

  1. Right-click the "Network" icon in the system tray.

  2. Select "Diagnose network problems" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Install pending Windows updates, including optional updates under "Settings" then "Windows Update" then "Advanced options".

Connect a different device to the same wireless network if the Wi-Fi connection continues to disconnect.

  • If the other device also disconnects, restart the wireless router. Turn off the router for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. Replace the router if the issue continues.

  • If only the Razer Blade laptop disconnects, restart the laptop and run a complete antivirus scan.
