How to configure THX Spatial Audio for headsets

This answer shows you how to configure THX Spatial Audio for headphones.

 

Below are the steps on how to configure THX Spatial Audio for headsets.

  1. Make sure your Razer headset comes with THX Spatial Audio. See the List of Razer headsets that come with THX Spatial Audio.

  2. Set your Razer headset as the default output device.

    Note: For the following products, the device selected should be "Razer <headset> - Game".

    • Razer Nari

    • Razer Nari Ultimate

    • Razer Kraken Tournament Edition

    • Razer USB Audio Controller

    For example, Razer Nari Ultimate will be "Razer Nari Ultimate - Game".

  3. For Windows 10 & 11, go to Windows sound settings for your playback devices. Select your Razer headset and click "Properties".

  4. Click on "Enhancements" and ensure the "Disable all enhancements" option is unchecked.

  5. Click on "Spatial Sound" and ensure the Spatial sound format is set to "Off".

  6. Open Razer Synapse then click on your Razer headset under the "DASHBOARD" tab.

  7. Go to the "SOUND" tab then toggle to "THX SPATIAL AUDIO" to activate the THX Spatial Audio mode.

  8. Select your preferred EQ presets then adjust the level of EQ bands to your preferred audio quality.

    Available EQ presets:

    • GAME

    • MOVIE

    • MUSIC

    • CUSTOM
