Razer Wireless Control Pod control functions

This answer shows the default control functions of the Razer Wireless Control Pod.

The power and source buttons have different functions depending on the mode that is used.

Command mode

The controls and functions below are available when the Razer Wireless Control Pod is connected to a PC. If you want to remap other functions to these controls, open Razer Synapse.

  • Power button / Media control knob
    • Single press – mute / unmute audio
    • Double press – play / pause a track
    • Triple press – skip a track
    • Rotate clockwise / counterclockwise – increase or decrease PC volume
  • Source button
    • Single Press – toggle between PC audio devices (requires Razer Synapse)
    • Triple press – toggle between Command and Audio modes

Note: When using these controls, the status indicator will briefly turn to solid magenta.

Audio mode

The controls and functions below are available when the Razer Wireless Control Pod is linked to your speaker system. If you want to remap other functions for each linked speaker, open the Razer Audio app.

  • Power button / Media control knob
    • Single press – mute / unmute audio
    • Double press – play / pause a track
    • Triple press – skip a track
    • Press and hold for 3 seconds* – power on / off speaker
    • Press and hold + rotate clockwise** – disable rear projection lighting on speakers
    • Press and hold + rotate counterclockwise** – enable rear projection lighting on speakers
  • Source button
    • Single Press – switch speakers between PC and Bluetooth mode
    • Double press* – cycle through EQ presets
    • Triple press* – toggle between Command and Audio modes
    • Press and hold for 4 seconds** (from Audio mode) – reactivate Bluetooth pairing mode for speakers
    • Press and hold for 4 seconds** (from Command mode) – reactivate Command mode (pairing)
  • Power and Source buttons
    • Single press both buttons (in Bluetooth mode)** – toggle Audio Reactive effect on / off (only works in Bluetooth mode)
  • Bluetooth pairing button
    • Triple press - reactivate Bluetooth pairing mode for speakers

Note: When using these controls, the status indicator will briefly show the current audio source mode (solid blue for Bluetooth or solid green for PC).
