If you find that your Razer Raptor 27 has lines or bright or dark spots, do the following:
-
Ensure Windows is up to date. See How to get the latest software and driver updates from Windows.
If you just updated Windows, please install the "Optional updates" under Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options.
-
Conduct a pixel test and look for any bright or dark spots. If the pixels only appear when using certain applications, do the following:
-
Restart the device and test if the issue is still present after reboot.
-
Adjust your screen resolution to match the screen resolution of the game or application.
-
Ensure your graphics driver is up to date.
-
Reinstall the updated graphics driver if the issue still exists and test the device again to eliminate the possibility of a corrupt installation.
-
Perform a system recovery or factory reset if the steps above did not resolve the issue.
-
If any bright and or dark spots are visible after the testing, we can assume that the pixels are physically defective. In this case, the issue is caused by the hardware and cannot be self-repaired. If you are certain that your device is still covered by Warranty, Razer will facilitate the replace on your behalf.
