Yes, the mounting port is an industry-standard 5/8 inch port.
What is the thread size on the Razer microphone?
The Razer microphone comes with a standard 5/8" thread built-in.
What is the best microphone position when recording for a stream?
When using a Razer microphone for streaming or recording audio, avoid directing the top of the microphone toward yourself, as the condenser microphones are not located at the tip. The optimal recording distance is approximately 8 inches (20 centimeters).
Why is my Razer microphone detected as a speaker in the device manager?
The Razer Seiren line of products are also detected as speakers in the device manager to allow for audio monitoring while streaming. When a headset is plugged into the 3.5 mm port on the Seiren, you hear both your computer audio and mic audio.
Will my microphone work with consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch?
No. The Razer Seiren series is designed to work with a PC and is not guaranteed to work with a console.
What programs can I use to broadcast gameplay using my Razer microphone?
Is the Razer microphone compatible with other professional recording software?
Yes. The Razer microphone is compatible with professional recording software such as ProTools, Logic Pro X, Garage band, Sound Forge, and Cakewalk.

- Download the latest firmware.
Update process
- Run the updater.
- You may be prompted to confirm changes on your device by the User Account Control. Click "Yes" to confirm these changes.
- Click "NEXT" to proceed. The installer will close all running Razer applications if you have not done so.

- Connect the microphone directly to your PC using the included USB cable.
Note: Do not use a non-powered USB hub.
