Pairing mode is required when setting up the light bar from the Razer Gamer Room App or Razer Synapse. While unpaired, the light bar will always enter pairing mode when you power it on.

Pair the light bar with the Gamer Room App
- Download and launch the Razer Gamer Room app on your Android or iOS device.
- Turn on the light switch.
- Tap on "Add your first device" on the main page or "Add a Device" from the menu button, and select the Razer Aether Monitor Light Bar from the list.
- Allow and enable location access when prompted so the app can find your Monitor Light Bar during the setup.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing of your Monitor Light Bar to your account and your selected WiFi network. Make sure to select the same WiFi network used by your mobile device.
- Once the setup is complete, your Razer Aether Monitor Light Bar will appear on the app’s main page whenever launching the app.
Pair the light bar with Razer Synapse
- Download and install Razer Synapse on your PC / laptop. For existing users, make sure to update Razer Synapse to its latest version.
- Ensure your Razer Aether Monitor Lightbar is already set up on your network from the Razer Gamer Room app, and your PC is connected to the same network as the Monitor Light Bar.
- Turn on the light switch.
- On Razer Synapse, click on "Add Gamer Room Device" and follow the onscreen instructions.
- Update when prompted and wait for Razer Synapse to set up the Monitor Light Bar. The Razer Synapse Dashboard will now show the Razer Aether Monitor Light Bar on the Devices list.
