Razer controller audio jack does not output audio (Raiju Tournament Edition, Wolverine Ultimate)

| Answer ID: 1458

This article shows how to fix a Razer Raiju Tournament Edition or Razer Wolverine Ultimate controller that does not output audio from the audio jack.

If you cannot hear audio through the 3.5 mm audio jack on your Razer controller, follow the steps for your controller.

Select your controller

Razer Raiju Tournament Edition

Audio streaming through the Razer Raiju Tournament Edition | RZ06-02610 only works when the controller is in wired mode and connected to the PS4/PC through USB. Connect to the PS4/PC using the included micro-USB cable.

If you're connected to a PS4, hold the PS button to go to Quick Menu, then ensure that the volume control for headphones is not muted, and output to Headphones is set correctly.

Razer Wolverine Ultimate

There is a firmware update for the Razer Wolverine Ultimate that addresses this issue and the following:

  • Resolves the audio issue where it does not activate the audio on the 3.5 mm jack when activating the console using the controller
  • Resolves the issue with the Razer Synapse app converting customized profile to onboard profile causing “motor parameter error”

Below are the steps to update the firmware:

  1. Download the firmware updater.
  2. Plug the controller into a PC while holding the “D-pad UP” and “A” buttons.
  3. Run the updater.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
