To keep your performance at peak with your Razer mechanical or optical keyboard, it is important to keep it free from dirt and grime that can accumulate over time.


In cleaning your Razer mechanical or optical keyboard, you will need the following:

  • Compressed air can
  • Lint-free microfiber cleaning cloth

Note: Never submerge your keyboard in any type of liquid.


Follow these instructions for proper cleaning to prevent damaging your Razer keyboard:

  1. Unplug your keyboard from your system. If your device has a passthrough port, disconnect the devices connected to them as well.
  2. Take a lint-free microfiber cloth. 
  3. Wipe the surface of the keyboard gently. Ensure that the surface is free of any visible dust or debris before cleaning. 
  4. Remove the keycaps if your Razer keyboard has removable keycaps. Otherwise, turn the keyboard upside down and use compressed air to blow off any accumulated dust or debris.
