Polling rate is the measure of how many times your mouse reports its position to your computer. The higher it is set, the more processing power it requires, which results in reduced frame rates when playing CPU-bound games and system lagging. Also, some game engines/titles may not support high polling rates.
To resolve this issue, try lowering the polling rate of your mouse.
