If you encounter the “License code is invalid” error during setup and activation of the 7.1 Surround Sound, do the following:
  1. Check your activation code to see if it contains the letters “I” and “O” or the numbers “1” and “0”.
  2. Replace the numbers with the letters or vice versa.
  3. Try again.
