On-board memory is a feature built into select Razer mice and keyboards. It allows your device to store settings such as key bindings, macros, and DPI stages directly on the device rather than only on your computer.

Keep your customized configurations with the device by saving them directly to its on-board memory. Connect the device to another computer and continue using your saved profile, even without Razer Synapse installed.

Frequently asked questions

How many profiles can I save to my device?

The number of on-board profiles depends on your product model. Devices with a single on-board profile will store only the last profile used, while other models can store multiple profiles. To check how many profiles your device supports, refer to the technical specifications on your product page.

Why are macros not saved to my device?

Support for storing macros in on-board memory varies by device model. On some models, macros are managed through Razer Synapse and will only work while Razer Synapse is running on your computer.

Note: When setting up macros, refer to the alert dialog in Razer Synapse. It will indicate whether this applies to your device.

Why are lighting effects not saved to my device?

Lighting effects cannot be saved to on-board memory. Lighting is managed through Razer Synapse, so Razer Synapse must be installed and running to change or apply your lighting effects.
