This answer will show you the steps to ensure your anti-virus is up-to-date on your Razer Blade system.

Important: Ensure Windows is up to date. See How to get the latest software and driver updates from Windows. If you just updated Windows, please install the "Optional updates" under Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options.

Disclaimer: The following steps apply to Windows Defender which is the default antivirus program for all Razer Blades.

  1. Open Windows Defender.

  2. Select "Virus & threat protection" on the left-side menu.

  3. Click on "Virus & threat protection updates".

  4. Click on "Check for updates". Windows Defender will proceed to download and install any available updates.
