This answer is a guide on how to assign your fingerprint as a security lock on the Razer Phone.

 

Assigning a fingerprint is an added security feature on the Razer Phone to prevent unauthorized persons from using it. Follow the steps below to set up a fingerprint security lock on your Razer Phone.

Note: The instructions below apply to the Razer Phone with the Oreo installed.

  1. Go to your apps list and select "Settings".

  2. Tap "Security & location".

  3. Select "Fingerprint" and tap "Next".

  4. Select "Fingerprint + Pattern" and tap "Yes".

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions until you finish drawing the pattern.

  6. Select the notification settings and tap "Done".

  7. Place your finger on the sensor.

  8. Continue following the on-screen instructions until you are done. Your phone will vibrate once it's completed scanning your fingerprint.

  9. Tap "Done" to complete the process.
