This is a known issue for the Android Platform and not the Razer Phone. Some Razer Phone users may be experiencing the following issues within messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Line, and Facebook Messenger:
- The first few seconds of the audio file are extremely quiet, almost inaudible when you use the earpiece.
- The first few seconds of the audio file are covered by a loud static noise when you put the phone to your ear.
Google has acknowledged this issue and is hoping to have it fixed in future Android OS updates.
