How to fix malfunctioning Naga Trinity Side panel keys

This answer is a guide on how you can resolve functionality issues on the side panels of the Razer Naga Trinity | RZ01-02410.

 

If the Razer Naga Trinity | RZ01-02410 side panels does not respond to any inputs or give the wrong input that is recorded in the respective keys.

  1. Clean the contacts (pogo pins) on the mouse (where the side panel is being attached to the mouse).

  2. Clean the contacts on the side panel side (16 contact surfaces).

    1. Use a cotton swap lightly coated with rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts. 

    2. Let the contacts dry thoroughly before using again. 

    3. If that does not help you can gently rub an eraser from a pencil against the contacts, blow away any residue and then repeat steps 1 and 2.

    4. Electronic contact cleaners are also available from third parties, be sure to follow all directions provided by the manufacturer if you chose to use one of these products.

      CAUTION: Do not use other solvents that are not intended for use on electrical components as this may damage your Naga.
