The apps of the Switch Blade Interface (SBUI) are not working and are crashing

If you are experiencing this issue with your Razer Deathstalker keyboards with the Switch Blade Interface (SBUI) or Razer laptops with SBUI, this may be due to a compatibility issue.

Step-by-step process:

  1. Ensure that the drivers of your Razer device is up to date.

  2. Check that your Razer Synapse software is up to date. See How to manually check for updates in Razer Synapse for more information. 

  3. Ensure Windows is up to date. See How to get the latest software and driver updates from Windows for more information.

    If you just updated Windows, install "Optional updates" under Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options.

  4. If possible, test the device on another PC without Razer Synapse.

    1. If the device works without Razer Synapse installed, the issue may be due to a software problem. You may opt to reinstall Razer Synapse.

  5. Disable or exit Razer Synapse on the system tray.
