How to configure and enable THX Surround Sound for a Razer Nari Ultimate headset

This answer provides instructions on how to make the Razer Nari Ultimate output in THX surround sound.

 

Important:

  • If Synapse 3 is installed in your PC, uninstall it.

  • Ensure that the Razer Nari Headset is charged to full capacity. A depleted unit will fully charge in about four hours.

Step-by-step process

  1. Download Synapse 3.

    1. Go to Razer Synapse 3 download page.

    2. Click "Download Now".

  2. Connect the headset’s wireless dongle to your computer.

  3. Install Synapse 3. See How to install Razer Synapse 3 for more details.

  4. Select the Razer Nari Ultimate on Synapse 3.

  5. Ensure that the THX SPATIAL AUDIO is toggled on.

  6. Open a program that will output sounds.

  7. Change the output setting from “Stereo” to “Surround Sound” in Synapse 3.
