Battery consumption varies among users, so battery life depends on how you use your Razer Phone 2. In general, we recommend that you turn on Adaptive Brightness and Adaptive Battery to extend battery performance. Adaptive Battery limits consumption for infrequently used apps. Over time, your phone will learn how you use your apps and will adjust accordingly.
To enable Adaptive Battery, do the following:
- Go to Settings > Battery > Adaptive Battery.
- Toggle "Use Adaptive Battery" on.

Adaptive Brightness will automatically adjust the brightness of your screen depending on ambient light conditions and your activities. Move the brightness slider manually to help Adaptive Brightness learn your preferences.
To enable Adaptive Brightness, do the following:
- Go to Settings > Display > Adaptive Brightness
- Toggle "Adaptive brightness" on.

Additional tips for optimum battery life:
- Lower your brightness settings. The screen is the largest component of your phone, so it consumes the most of your battery.
- Set your Razer Phone 2 to sleep after one minute of inactivity or lower to conserve battery power,
- Set the refresh rate to 90Hz or lower.
- Lower your display resolution to FHD (1080p). This is set to 1440p out of the box.
- Turn off your Wi-Fi/Data/Bluetooth connection when not in use. Disable connectivity in areas with weak connections to prevent the phone from spending even more power to keep the signal stable.
- Disable apps that constantly auto-sync information such as GPS trackers, social media apps, weather widgets, and newsreaders.
- Do not expose the Razer Phone 2 to extremely hot or cold temperatures as this may prematurely degrade the battery cells.
