How to set up guest network on the Razer Sila router

This article provides steps on how to set up the guest network on the Razer Sila router.

 

Note: The Razer Sila app will no longer be usable after the 16th of October 2024. Live support for Razer Sila is no longer available. Please refer to our knowledge base or Insider Forum for support.
 

Setting up a Guest Network is another way of sharing access to an internet connection to your guests without giving your primary WiFi password.

You can also setup a "Guest Network" using the Web UI under wireless configuration.

  1. Open a browser, then direct it to "192.168.8.1" or "sila.razer.com".

  2. Input your admin password then click "Sign In".

  3. Select "Wireless Configuration" > "Guest SSID".

  4. Toggle the "Enable" switch and fill out the SSID name and password. Otherwise, set the security mode to "None". 

  5. Click "Apply" to save the settings.
