Step-by-step Process
Before you start
- Make sure the laptop is plugged into a wall outlet and not just running on battery before proceeding.
- Save all files and close all programs.
- Download the latest firmware updater.
Update process
- Run the downloaded firmware then click "NEXT" to proceed.
- Plug in the wireless USB dongle to your PC.
- Click "UPDATE".
- Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.
- Click "NEXT".
- Switch the mouse to Bluetooth mode.
- Press and hold the two side buttons and two DPI buttons simultaneously for three seconds. The status indicator will start blinking to show that the mouse is in pairing mode.
- Activate Bluetooth in your Windows PC settings and select “DA V2 X”.
- Wait until the mouse pairs with your device. Once paired, the status indicator will briefly turn solid blue.
- Click “NEXT”.
- In your Windows PC, go to “Bluetooth & devices > Devices”, then set “Bluetooth devices discover” to “Advanced”.
- Click on “Add device”, then select “DfuDAV2X”.
- Click “NEXT”.
- Click "UPDATE".
- Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.
- Click “NEXT”.
- Once the update is complete, click "EXIT".
