Step-by-step process to set up Network-attached storage (NAS) with the Razer Sila.

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port of your NAS to any of the Ethernet ports at the back of the Razer Sila.

  2. Power on your NAS device.

  3. Configure your NAS device. Refer to the manual of your NAS device for guidance.

If you wish to make the NAS visible to the internet, assign a non-changing IP address to the device.

  1. Enter 192.168.8.1 or sila.razer.com into a web browser.

  2. Enter your Razer Sila’s admin password.

  3. Select LAN IP from the menu on the left.

  4. Select the “DHCP/DNS Reservation” tab.

  5. From the Connected Devices List select your NAS device.

  6. Click on “Apply DHCP/DNS Reservation”.

If your ISP provides a Dynamic IP Address rather than a Static IP Address, use the Dynamic DNS setting.

  1. Select “Dynamic DNS” from the left menu.

  2. Select Enabled and select the free Dynamic DNS service from the list.

  3. Enter your domain name, username, and password.
