This is a guide showing the latest version of the Razer Cobra HyperSpeed Firmware update and how to install it successfully.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

Before you start

  1. If using a laptop, ensure it is plugged into a wall outlet. Do not let it run on battery alone.
  2. Save all files and close all programs.
  3. Download the latest driver from the link above.

Update Process

  1. Run the updater.
  2. Click "Yes" if the User Account Control window pops up to proceed.
  3. Click "NEXT" to proceed. The updater will close all running Razer applications.
  4. Select the device you want to update.
  5. Plug in the wireless USB dongle to PC then click "UPDATE".
  6. Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.
  7. Click "NEXT".
  8. Connect the device to PC using the supplied USB cable.
  9. Click "UPDATE".
  10. Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.
  11. Click "NEXT".
  12. Click "CLOSE" once the update is complete.
