This is a guide showing the latest version of the Razer Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed firmware and steps to install it successfully.

Applicable Models:

Firmware updater v1.1.8_r2

Note: The dongle firmware will be updated to version 1.1.5.0, while the earbuds firmware will be updated to version 1.1.8.0.

Step-by-step Process

  1. If using a laptop, ensure it is plugged into a wall outlet. Do not let it run on battery alone.

  2. Save all files and close all programs.

  3. Download the latest firmware.

  1. Run the updater.

  2. Click "Yes" if the User Account Control window pops up to proceed.

  3. Click "NEXT" to proceed. The updater will close all running Razer applications.

  4. Connect the charging case to your PC using the included USB cable.

  5. Take the earbuds from the charging case and put them in your ears.

    Note: If HyperSpeed Wireless mode isn't active, tap one earbud three times to enable it.

  6. Click "UPDATE".

  7. Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.
