A good battery should be equal to or greater than the specified capacity when fully charged.
Get the battery and energy reports for the following issues:
-
The battery is swelling.
-
The battery life is short or it depletes very fast.
Important: Perform battery calibration first before generating a report to ensure accurate and reliable results. See How to perform battery calibration on your Razer Blade for instructions.
See instructions below
How to get a Battery Report from a Razer Blade
Below are the steps to retrieve a battery report:
-
Open start menu and type "CMD".
-
Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator" to proceed.

-
Type in "powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery_report.html"". An HTML file will be generated.

-
Look for “battery_report” in drive “C:\”.

Battery Report - shows system information and details about the installed battery.

Recent Usage - shows usage history over the last three days whether the laptop was running on battery or connected to the power supply.

Battery capacity history - shows history of the “FULL CHARGE CAPACITY” and the “DESIGNED CAPACITY”.
Important: Battery capacity is the duration a device can operate on a fully charged battery. Over time, all batteries gradually lose capacity and lifespan. Be aware that every time the battery is charged and discharged, its capacity decreases.
A slight difference (typically within 10%) is expected and not a defect.
Should you see a huge difference between "FULL CHARGE CAPACITY" and "DESIGNED CAPACITY", perform battery calibration on your Razer Blade. See How to perform battery calibration on your Razer Blade for more details.

Battery life estimates - shows the estimated battery life “AT FULL CHARGE” and “AT DESIGN CAPACITY”.

How to create an Energy Report from a Razer Blade
Below are the steps to create an energy report:

-
Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator" to proceed.

-
