How do I handle a swollen Lithium battery?
A swollen battery must be handled carefully to avoid thermal runaway resulting in energetic failures. Once the battery swells, it should no longer be used or charged and should be disposed of according to your local regulations. Follow the guidelines below to handle a laptop with a swollen battery.
