Razer Cortex 9 Support & FAQs

1. Open Razer Synapse.
2. Select your keyboard from the DASHBOARD.
3. Open the “Profile” dropdown menu.
4. Click the three dots icon beside APPLICATION PROFILES.
5. Click the three dots (...) next to "Add Profile" and choose "add empty profile" or "add default profile".
   Note: If the application is missing from the profile menu, choose “Add Application”, select application from the dropdown menu, and pick a name for the profile that will appear after pressing “ok”.
6. Click "Ok".
7. Select an application from the drop-down menu or search from a folder.
8. Create a name for your new profile.
9. Add a description, if desired.
10. Click ”Ok.”

Click the verification link in the email sent to your registered emailaddress to activate your account.

If the email does not appear in your inbox, check your spam folder. Youwill be able to log in once your email address has been verified.

1. Restart the application twice to clear the login screen's cache. You’d be able to see the “Continue as Guest” button on its next launch.
2. Use Razer Synapse or Razer Cortex as a guest.

Log out of your Razer account, then sign in again. An expired token often prevents Deals and Rewards from loading.

Download Razer Cortex using this link if you are on Windows 8 or Windows 7.

Note: The Razer Cortex installer from the download pageis compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Click the plus icon under the “GAME BOOSTER” tab to add games manually.

Note: Razer Cortex scans your PC for installed games at startup, and supported titles appear automatically. If a game does notappear in the known applications list, click the plus icon on the rightside of the window and use the folder icon to browse for it manually.

Use the manual "BOOST NOW" button under the “BOOST” tab.

1. Download the Razer Cortex BETA widget from the Microsoft Store.
2. Launch Razer Cortex from the Xbox Game Bar widget menu. The widget checks for the compatible version of Razer Cortex.
3. Update your Razer Cortex version if prompted.
4. Follow and complete the upgrade guide.
5. Go back to the widget to log in after the update has been completed.

Customize both the game tiles' appearance and the order in which they are displayed. To change the appearance of your game tiles:

1. Click on the game
2. Select the ellipsis icon. You can change the cover art, add cover art, or change the title.

To mark a game as a favorite:

1. Click on the game tile.
2. Select the star icon. Your favorite games will be shown before other games in your library.

3. Complete an image verification test. An e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address with instructions to reset your password.

Razer Cortex: Deals scans the stores every 15 minutes to make sure you are looking at the latest prices. It can take much longer for Cortex to update if there is a large number of recent game price-changes.

There are no feature differences between these two versions. The Razer Cortex BETA for Xbox Game Bar works with or without Xbox Game Bar. But it has been updated to offer shortcut features via the Xbox Game Bar widgets. Join the BETA to check out popular features of Razer Cortex without opening the main app UI. The widget offers three of the most popular features of Cortex:

• BOOST - Use Razer Cortex’s Boost and Restore features via the overlay

• GAME DEALS - Get a quick view of the latest game deals as well as ongoing

The widget also allows users to quickly LAUNCH CORTEX without having to exit their existing game.
