Step-by-step process:

  1. Ensure Windows is up to date. See How to get the latest software and driver updates from Windows.

  2. After the update, restart your Razer Blade and check if your camera has been detected.

  3. If the issue persists, verify that your apps have permission to use your camera.

    1. Go to "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Camera".

    2. Under "Allow Access to the camera on this device", ensure that the "Camera access for this device is on".

Check that the Camera access for this device is on

  4. Scroll down and confirm that your Microsoft Store app has access to the camera.

Check the Microsoft Store app if it has access to the camera

  5. For other apps, ensure that the "Allow desktop apps to access your camera" is turned on.

Ensure that the Allow desktop apps to access your camera is turned on

If your camera is still not detected, reinstall your driver.

  1. Go to "Device Manager".

  2. Locate and right-click on your camera, then select "Uninstall".

Right-click on your camera, then select Uninstall

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the uninstallation process.

    Click Uninstall

  4. After the uninstallation is complete, go back to "Device Manager".

  5. Select "Action" > "Scan for hardware changes".

This process takes a few moments to detect and install the driver for your camera.
