How to set up the Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller

This answer will show you how to set up the Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller.

 

Below are the steps to set up the Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller.

Important: Turn off your PC before proceeding to avoid electric shocks. For safety purposes, wear an anti-static wrist strap (not included) to avoid damaging the internal components of your PC.

  1. Plug your ARGB LED strips or devices into any of the 3-pin 5 V ports of the ARGB controller.

    Note: The LED strips are not included in the package.

  2. Connect the ARGB controller to your PC’s power supply unit using the Molex to DC cable.

  3. Connect the ARGB controller to the internal USB header on the motherboard. Use the included Micro-USB to USB pin header cable in doing so.

    Note: You can use the included double-sided adhesive tapes to fasten the ARGB controller inside the chassis. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and flat before sticking the adhesive tapes.

    The ARGB controller also comes with mounting points at the bottom. These will allow you to mount the device onto an empty SSD mounting plate of your PC using M3 screws (not included).

  4. Use the Razer Synapse app to access the following features across your ARGB and Razer Chroma-enabled devices:

    • In-depth lighting customization options
    • Games and applications integration
