Razer has different types of wireless mice. Some are powered with Lithium-Ion battery packs which can be charged via USB cable specially designed for Razer mice and via Razer Charging Dock.
Follow the tips below to troubleshoot a Razer mouse battery that does not charge:
- For Razer mice with Lithium Battery Packs:
- Turn the mouse off.
- Charge for at least 30 minutes.
- When charging using a Razer Mouse Dock:
- Clean the pogo pins and the mouse charging pins using Q-tip or a lint-free microfiber cloth. See How to clean Razer devices for more details.
- Make sure that the firmware on your Razer mouse is up to date.
- Check for available firmware updates for your device by checking the Razer Support site.
- Test the mouse with a different system without Synapse if applicable.
- Make sure that the device is plugged in directly to a PC and not a USB hub.
