Before you start

1. If using a laptop, ensure it is plugged into a wall outlet. Do not let it run on battery alone.

2. Save all files and close all programs.

3. Download the latest firmware.

Update Process

1. Run the updater.

2. Click "Yes" if the User Account Control window pops up.

3. Click "NEXT". The updater will close all running Razer applications.

   

4. Plug in the wireless USB dongle to your computer.

5. Click "UPDATE".

   

6. Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.

   

7. Click "NEXT" once the update is complete.

   

8. Switch the mouse to "BT" mode.

9. Press and hold the two side buttons and the DPI cycle button simultaneously for 3 seconds.

10. Activate Bluetooth on your device and search for new devices.

11. Select "Basilisk X" or "Basilisk X Hyperspeed".

12. Click "NEXT" once the pairing is complete.

    

13. Click "NEXT" to proceed with the update.

    

14. Click "UPDATE".

    

15. Wait until the update process is complete. Do not interrupt.

    

16. Wait for the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed to reset. This may take up to 10 seconds.

    

17. Click "NEXT" once the update is complete.

    

18. Click "EXIT".
