If you experience sound issues on your Razer headset such as hissing, static, or buzzing while 7.1 Surround Sound is enabled, perform the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound.

  2. Right-click on “Speakers 7.1 Surround Sound” and select “Properties”.

  3. Go to the “Advanced” tab.

  4. Uncheck all options under “Exclusive Mode” and “Signal Enhancements”.

  5. Click “Apply” then “OK”.

    The sound quality issues on your Razer headset while using 7.1 Surround Sound should now be resolved.
