Why is the Razer Nabu not charging?

| Answer ID: 5355
This article is a step-by-step process on how to resolve charging issues on your Razer Nabu.

A non-charging Razer Nabu is caused by dirty charging contacts, faulty charging sources (ex. USB port or plug), or  a defective USB charging cable. Follow the steps below to fix charging issues on a Razer Nabu.

Step-by-step process

  1. Clean the charging contacts using a moist cotton swab. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to get rid of any stubborn debris. Do not submerge your Nabu in hot water or use abrasive cleaners. Thoroughly dry your Nabu before attempting to charge.
  2. Use a different USB port. Your charger may not be getting enough power from that specific USB port.
  3. Use the USB charging cable directly to your computer's USB port or a USB wall charger. Powered or unpowered USB hubs do not always provide a consistent output to charge your Nabu.
  4. Restart your Razer Nabu.
