Why is the Display menu on the Razer Blade 14” (2021) missing?

This answer provides instructions on how to resolve the missing Display menu issue on Razer Blade 14” (2021).

 

 

Scenario: An external monitor is connected to the Razer Blade 14” (2021) and when using the AMD FreeSync™ application, the Display menu is hidden.

The image below shows that the “Display” menu is missing in the AMD FreeSync™ software.

This issue occurs when an external monitor is set up and connected to the Blade 14” (2021) and the secondary screen (Display 2) on the blade is used. This is due to the fact that Display 2 is connected to the dGPU which uses the NVIDIA card, while Display 1 is connected to the AMD Radeon™ Graphics card.

To resolve this issue, make sure to use Display 1 before running the AMD FreeSync™ software. The “Display” menu is only available when using Display 1.
