What is the best microphone position when recording for a stream?
When using a Razer microphone for streaming or recording audio, avoid directing the top of the microphone toward yourself, as the condenser microphones are not located at the tip. The optimal recording distance is approximately 8 inches (20 centimeters).
Why is my Razer microphone detected as a speaker in the device manager?
The Razer Seiren line of products are also detected as speakers in the device manager to allow for audio monitoring while streaming. When a headset is plugged into the 3.5 mm port on the Seiren, you hear both your computer audio and mic audio.
Will my microphone work with consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch?
No. The Razer Seiren series is designed to work with a PC and is not guaranteed to work with a console.
