How to pair a Razer Nari headset to its USB dongle (Pairing Utility and Dongle Recovery Tool)

This article shows how to pair a Razer Nari, Nari Ultimate, or Nari Essential headset to its wireless USB dongle using the Razer Nari Pairing Utility, and how to recover a dongle using the Dongle Recovery Tool.

 

The Razer Nari Pairing Utility is a tool used to pair your replacement wireless USB dongle or to fix connection issues with your current dongle. If you lose the pairing or connection between your Razer Nari or Razer Nari Ultimate headset and your system, the Dongle Recovery Tool can restore it.

If your headset cannot connect or pair to a replacement dongle (Razer Nari, Razer Nari Ultimate, and Razer Nari Essential):

  1. Pair the replacement dongle with the headset first. Use the Dongle Recovery Tool (see below) if you need to recover your dongle.

  2. Download the appropriate pairing utility for your headset model.

  3. Pair or connect your wireless USB dongle to your headset using the Razer Nari Pairing Utility (see below).

Installation process

  1. Run the "RazerNariPairingUtility_vX.XX.XX.exe" file.

  2. Close Razer Synapse and other applications then click "OK".

  3. Plug the wireless USB dongle into your computer.

  4. Connect the headset to your computer using the charging cable.

  5. Click "PAIR".

  6. Wait for the pairing to complete.

  7. Click "CLOSE" once the pairing process is complete.

Your Razer Nari headset and wireless USB dongle are now paired.

Dongle Recovery Tool (Razer Nari and Nari Ultimate)

Use the Nari Dongle Recovery Tool to restore the connection and pair your headset and system once again.

Note: Make sure that you have already downloaded the latest version through the link above before proceeding.

  1. Run the “NariDongleRecoveryTool_vX.XX.XX.exe” which is located in the “Downloads” folder of your computer.

  2. Follow the instructions on the “REMINDER” section and click “NEXT”.

    Click Next to proceed

  3. Plug in your Razer Nari or Nari Ultimate dongle to your computer and click “RECOVER”.

  4. Wait until the progress bar reaches 100%.

  5. Click “CLOSE” once the recovery process is complete.

After recovering the dongle, pair it with your headset using the Razer Nari Pairing Utility above.
