Currently, you cannot customize the lighting effects on Razer devices when they are in idle, locked, or sleep mode. Please see below for examples.
-
When you force the PC into sleep mode or lock it via Windows > Power > Sleep or by pressing the Windows key + L:
-
All devices will revert to the default Chroma effect. Usually, this is the spectrum cycling effect.
-
Windows puts all apps into sleep mode and Razer Synapse cannot implement your “SWITCH OFF SCREEN” settings.
-
-
If you let the PC go into idle or sleep on its own:
-
Razer Synapse can continue running in the background and the lighting effects you set will continue to run
-
The lights will turn off if you selected “When display is off” under “SWITCH OFF LIGHTING” in Razer Synapse. For details on how to leave your keyboard lights on, see How to make the Razer Blade keyboard lights stay on or off when the computer goes into sleep mode for more details.
