To help resolve keyboard and mouse randomly disconnecting and having an intermittent connection, follow the steps below:
Identify Dongle Connectivity specific issue:
- Check and ensure that your device is running on the latest firmware.
Software and Firmware Updates for Razer Peripherals - Check if your keyboard or mouse is disconnected when Razer Synapse is turned on.
- Test the device on your PC with Razer Synapse disabled. This is to isolate the device from a software issue.
- Plug the keyboard or mouse directly to the computer and not on a USB hub. If it is already directly plugged into the computer, try a different USB port. Make sure its USB 3.0 and/or above.
Note: For PC, we recommend plugging the dongle directly to your PC motherboard. - If the dongle is plugged into the extender, ensure that it is placed near the peripheral.
- Avoid placing the dongle near your Wi-Fi router as it may affect the connectivity.
- Test the device on another PC.
