How do I pair my Razer Seiren BT?

  1. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to power on and activate pairing mode. The status indicator will blink rapidly in blue to show that the microphone is in pairing mode.

  2. Activate Bluetooth on your device and select Razer Seiren BT from the list of devices found.

  3. Wait until the Razer Seiren BT connects to your device. The status indicator will slowly blink in blue in repeated intervals to show that it is connected to your device.

  4. Once connected, the Razer Seiren BT will automatically reconnect to the last device whenever on and within range.

How do I check if my device is recording using the Razer Seiren BT?

  1. Test the Razer Seiren BT with any voice recording app on your device.

  2. Take your device a few meters away before recording.

  3. Playback your recording to check if you can hear your own voice.

  4. Test the Razer Seiren BT in a phone call with Sidetone enabled in the app and see if you can hear yourself speaking.

How do I enhance noise reduction for my microphone?

  • Ensure that your microphone is positioned close to your mouth.

  • Lower the gain of your microphone.

  • Ensure that there are no fans or air-conditioning units blowing directly onto your microphone.

  • Use the windsock provided to reduce background noise.

  • Use broadcasting software like OBS that come equipped with plugins to reduce background noise.

How do I minimize popping sounds when speaking into your microphone

  • Do not place the microphone directly in front of your mouth.

  • Position the microphone off to the side so that the air from your mouth does not directly hit the microphone when you speak.

How do I select the Razer Seiren BT as my preferred audio pickup device?

Bluetooth-device-enabled third-party live streaming applications will auto-detect the Razer Seiren BT and use it as the default mic, subject to testing for mic audio pickup.

How do I tell the battery level of the Razer Seiren BT?

The Razer Seiren BT will briefly show its battery level on the status indicator when you power on the microphone. When the microphone needs recharging, the status indicator shows the battery level until you charge the microphone.

The battery level can also be checked through the Razer Streaming app.

Does the Razer Seiren BT work with all third-party live streaming applications?

Yes, the Razer Seiren BT is designed for IRL streaming and should work with all Bluetooth-device-enabled third-party live streaming applications, subject to the third-party applications’ Bluetooth compatibility.

Does the Razer Seiren BT work with the native camera app?

No, as there is some limitation on the native camera app. The Razer Seiren BT only works with a third-party application that supports external audio input source.

Can I change the Razer Seiren BT mic settings while IRL live streaming on a Bluetooth-device-enabled third-party streaming application?

Yes, you can exit the IRL streaming application and change your Razer Seiren BT settings via the Razer Streaming App, subject to the multi-tasking capabilities of the mobile phone and IRL streaming application. The streaming feed might momentarily pause depending on the mobile phone and IRL streaming application.

Can I use the Razer Seiren BT without the mobile app?

Yes, the Razer Seiren BT can be paired with your Bluetooth device without the mobile app. However, with the Razer Streaming app, quickly set up and connect to your microphone, adjust mic gain, get the latest app updates.

[a] If you are a customer outside of the U.S. and have validly purchased a Razer Extended Warranty for your product, the Warranty Period shall be extended for another one (1) year period, to be a total of two (2) years commencing upon the date of retail purchase of your Razer Product. The Razer Extended Warranty does not apply to batteries. Aside from the change to Warranty Period, the Razer Extended Warranty does not alter any other terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty.

[b] Products purchased prior to October 1st, 2018 maintain the original 1 year warranty (keyboards with mechanical switches maintain original 2 year warranty).

[c] Warranty period for Razer Firefly HyperFlux is 2 years.

[d] Products purchased prior to October 1st, 2018 maintain the original 6 month warranty.

[e] Limited Warranty: The Razer Iskur is free from defects in workmanship, materials and construction for three years from the date of purchase. In the event that a defect is found, the manufacturer will either repair or replace the defective item, at its discretion. Exclusions and Limitations: This Limited Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, minor cosmetic abnormalities and normal wear and tear, including without limitation scratches, dents, discoloration and tears in the head pillow, seat cushion, PU leather, Armrest and stitches of the upholstery.
