This answer will show you how to fix device name issues with your Razer Kiyo, Razer Kiyo X, and Razer Kiyo Pro.

Follow the steps below if your Razer Kiyo, Razer Kiyo X, or Razer Kiyo Pro is being detected as a generic "USB Video Device" in the system device manager or your streaming application video capture device list.

  1. Open "Device Manager".

  2. Right-click "USB Video Device", then click "Uninstall device".

  3. Toggle "Delete the driver software for this device."

  4. Click "Uninstall".

  5. Plug out the camera USB connector.

  6. Plug the camera USB connector back in.

  7. If the device name issue persists, repeat the steps above but connect the camera to a different USB port.
