Windows laptops with Modern Standby enable your laptop to wake instantly as a smartphone or tablet would while saving power.

In Modern Standby, your device can still connect to a network and allow background processes and important tasks such as reminders and notifications to work in a low-powered state. This is in contrast with the legacy sleep mode, which stores data in memory and cuts off power from the system, resulting in slower wake times.
Note: To enter sleep mode faster, close all open apps and ensure all Windows updates are completed.
Razer Blade LED behavior when in sleep mode:
- Blinking green with the fans spinning when the system receives notifications or a background task.
- Blinking white when tasks are completed, or none is running in the background.
How to check if your Razer Blade supports Modern Standby

Press the "Windows" + "R" keys.

Type “cmd” and click "OK" to open the Command Prompt.

Type “powercfg /a” and press "Enter".
Your device supports Modern Standby if you see "Standby(S0 Low Power Idle) Network Connected.”
