This answer will show you troubleshooting steps if the Razer Edge is unable to connect to a 5G signal.

Below are the steps to resolve the issue.

Important: Ensure your Razer Edge is up to date before proceeding.

  1. Check network coverage on the Razer Edge.

Note: Network signal is affected by walls, buildings, trees, and weather.

  2. Ensure “5G/4G/3G/2G (auto connect)” is selected. However, if you are in an area where there is poor 5G coverage, force your Razer Edge to use lower frequencies.

    1. Go to “Settings”.

    2. Tap "Network and Internet".

    3. Tap "Mobile network".

    4. Tap "Advanced".

    5. Tap "Preferred network type".

  3. Select and test a preferred network type.

  4. Contact your network provider to request a replacement SIM card if you are still experiencing the issue.

  5. Back up your data and perform a factory reset.
