This answer will show you troubleshooting steps for Internet, PC, and Bluetooth connection issues.

Important: Ensure your Razer Edge is up to date. See How to check software updates on the Razer Edge

Connecting to the Internet

  1. Ensure your choice of internet access has already been enabled, either by a WiFi or mobile data connection. Use a different mobile device to connect to the same internet connection.
    • If the second device cannot connect to the internet, the issue is with the internet connection.
    • Wi-Fi Connection - Contact your internet service provider.
    • If the second device connects successfully to the internet, proceed to the next step.
  2. Perform a hard reset if the Razer Edge is still having trouble connecting to the internet.
  3. If the issue persists, back up your Razer Edge data and perform a factory reset

Connecting to Bluetooth

Follow the instructions below to resolve Bluetooth connection issues with the Razer Edge:

  1. Remove all Bluetooth devices paired with the Razer Edge.
  2. Turn Bluetooth off on the Razer Edge.
  3. Restart the Bluetooth device you are trying to connect.
  4. Clear cache and data on Bluetooth Share and Bluetooth MIDI Service.
  5. Try to reconnect the Bluetooth device and verify if the issue has been resolved.
  6. If the issue persists, try to connect to a different Bluetooth device.
    • If the Edge connects to a different device, the Bluetooth device you are trying to pair may be defective or incompatible.
    • If the Edge does not connect to a different device, proceed to the next step.
  7. Boot into “Safe Mode”.
Note: Safe Mode disables third-party apps that run on your Razer Edge and helps you identify buggy apps. If Bluetooth works properly in Safe Mode, it means that a third-party app is causing the problem. Uninstall recently installed apps or the ones that are causing the issue.
  8. Perform a hard reset on the Razer Edge and verify if the issue has been resolved.
  9. If the issue persists, backup the data and perform a factory reset

Connecting to Computer

  1. Connect your Razer Edge to your computer via the included USB-C cable.
  2. Tap the notification on the Edge to check if you have successfully connected to the computer.
  3. Select the interaction you want to perform between the device and the computer.
  4. If the computer is still unable to detect the Razer Edge, boot the Razer Edge to Safe Mode to isolate if a third-party application is causing the issue.
  5. Reconnect the Razer Edge to the computer while in Safe Mode.
  6. If the issue persists, back up your Razer Edge data and perform a factory reset
