Below are the steps to fix intermittent Type-C connections.

Ensure the Type-C port and connector contact pins are free from dirt, debris, or lint. Periodically clean the Type-C port and connector contact pins using the following:

Compressed air

Toothpick or other similarly pointy cleaning tools
Note: Be careful not to damage the pins while using a cleaning tool.

Ensure the Type-C connector is properly plugged in.

Perform a test using another device to further isolate the issue.

For a device that is using a wireless Type-C dongle, ensure it is operated within the maximum wireless range. Remove other devices that can cause interference.
