Some users have reported that when using their Razer Kraken Tournament Edition | RZ04-02051 their playback device was still listed as "Razer Kraken TE" even after the latest update, which listed the USB Audio Controller in its place for accuracy. Changing the playback device name is pretty simple. For the headset to show as "Razer Audio Controller – Chat" and "Razer Audio Controller – Game", do the following:

Uninstall Synapse.

Download and install the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition Firmware Updater.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

After successfully installing the update, open "Device Manager" by right-clicking the "Windows logo" at the lower-left corner of the screen.

Under "Sound, video, and game controllers", you will see "Razer Kraken TE - Chat" and "Razer Kraken TE - Game".

Right-click on "Razer Kraken TE - Chat" and select "Uninstall device".

Select "Uninstall" when prompted.

Right-click on "Razer Kraken TE - Game" and select "Uninstall device".

Select "Uninstall" when prompted.

Restart the laptop if prompted.

The playback device should now show "Razer Audio Controller - Chat" and "Razer Audio Controller – Game".
