How to get rid of echo or feedback from a Razer headset

This answer provides instructions on how to remove the echo or feedback on your Razer headset.
  • Ensure that "Listen to this device" is NOT selected.
    1. Go to Control Panel > Sound > Recording > Properties > Listen.
    2. Uncheck "Listen to this device".
  • Make sure that your sensitivity levels are not set to max or boosted too much.
    1. Check Control Panel > Sound > Recording > Properties > Levels.
    2. Adjust sensitivity levels.
  • Ensure that only one voice chat application is in use while in-game.
  • Check that you are configured to use the proper microphone.
    1. Check Control Panel > Sound > Recording.
    2. Select proper Microphone.
    3. Set Default Device and Communications Device.
  • Ensure your computer supports the combined audio jack. If not, use the included audio and mic splitter cable.
