The ability of USB ports to stay powered during sleep mode depends on your PC. Some models do not support this feature. Here are a few tips to keep your USB ports active in standby mode.
Note: These steps apply to any Razer mouse with a built-in rechargeable battery.
-
Go to Device Manager.
-
Expand “Mice and other pointing devices”.
-
Double-click on your mouse model and navigate to the “Power Management” tab.
-
Ensure “Allow this device to wake the computer” is checked.
If this option is enabled and your device still does not charge, adjust your BIOS settings:
-
Restart your PC and enter BIOS mode.
-
Look for a USB power setting and make sure it is set to “Enabled”.
-
Save your changes and exit BIOS.
Note: Some motherboards and BIOS versions do not support supplying power to USB ports when the system is in sleep or standby mode.
