Background noise is still audible with Active Noise Cancellation enabled in Razer headsets

| Answer ID: 763

Does active noise cancellation mean that all noise in the background are canceled out?

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) uses microphones and speakers to reduce unwanted background and surrounding noises. It does this by filtering low-frequency noise captured by the microphone with the speaker producing sound that is 180°phase-inverted to cancel out that noise. Ensure that all voice-enabled apps such Razer Comms, Skype, Discord, or your in-game chat are closed before toggling the Razer headset active mic noise cancellation on.
