Razer Thresher headset LED is blinking and will not connect to the USB wireless dongle or audio hub

| Answer ID: 890
This article shows how to fix a Razer Thresher headset with a blinking LED that will not connect to its USB wireless dongle or audio hub.

If the LED on your Razer Thresher headset keeps blinking and the headset does not connect, follow the steps for the device your headset connects to.

Select your connection

USB wireless dongle

To ensure that your Razer Thresher headset | RZ04-02580 is properly connected, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the headset power button until you hear the ON tone and the LED indicator is lit.

  2. Keep the devices within proximity of each other for a faster and more stable connection.

  3. The notification LED will turn to static blue when connected to the USB wireless dongle.

Audio hub

Pressing the “ON” button on the Razer Thresher for Xbox One or the Razer Thresher for PS4 for too long causes the headset or audio hub to go into pairing mode. Follow the steps below to resolve this:

  1. Turn off the power of both the headset and audio hub.

  2. Press the audio hub power button to turn it on again. The LED indicator will start to blink slowly.

  3. Turn on the headset and let go of the power button when you hear the ON tone, the LED indicator is lit, or when the Razer logo starts blinking slowly.

Once the two devices are successfully connected, the LED lights of the headset and audio hub will become steady.
