Microphone mute function is not working on the Razer Thresher Tournament Edition

Do these workarounds to help resolve muting issues with the Razer Thresher TE.

 

Follow the steps below if you are experiencing muting issues with the Razer Thresher Tournament Edition | RZ04-02350. 

Note: This solution is only applicable to Realtek audio drivers.

  1. Go to the System Tray.
  2. Right-click on the Speakers icon and select “Recording devices”.
  3. Right-click on “Microphone” (Realtek High Definition Audio) and click “Properties”.
  4. Click the “Enhancements” tab under Microphone Properties. If the Enhancements tab is not visible, update the sound driver from the Realtek website.
  5. Check the options “Noise Suppression” and “Acoustic Echo Cancellation”.
  6. Click “Apply” and then click “OK”.
