Headset and transmitter are connected but there is no audio through the Razer Thresher headset on PS4

This article shows troubleshooting steps to resolve no audio through the Razer Thresher Ultimate on PS4.

If you cannot hear audio through the Razer Thresher Ultimate for PS4 | RZ04-01590 even though the headset and audio hub are connected, make sure the optical cable is plugged securely from the optical input on the back of the audio hub to the optical output on the back of your PS4 console. Please also make sure that the sound settings are configured correctly by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings > Sound and Screen > Audio Output Settings.

  2. Select “Digital Out (OPTICAL)”, and then select “Dolby Digital 5.1ch only”.
